Kabkab dates

Kabkab dates are one of the types of dates in Iran. The color of the fruit is yellow in the Khark stage, light brown and burnt brown in the Rutab stage, and turns dark brown when fully ripe. It is consumed mostly in the Rutab and date stages. Kabkab dates have a bitter taste in their immature and Khark stages, unlike other dates.
